2 Years Together – A Journey of Strength & Love

Love does not ask for perfection – it only asks for appearance, patience and partnership.

As we celebrate two years of marriage today, I do not face the difficulties we are facing, but on the victory we have shared. I am a particularly capable person living on wheelchair, and my wife, who walks with grace despite being 20–30% disabled, is the strongest soul I know.

We are not defined what we cannot do – we know how we have chosen to live, love and get up together.

🏡 From two families to a strong house

I come from a Patel family, she comes from a Joshi Brahmin family – two different traditions, a shared value: love with respect.

When we got married, many people questioned how two especially competent people would build life together. Today, we answer them not with words, but with smile, power and our story.

👶 Our biggest gift: a brave little boy

One year in our wedding, we were blessed with the most precious gift – our son, a healthy, strong and joyful child. He reminds us every day that strength has not always been inherited from muscles – it is gifted by faith and love.

God gave us a child that we had ever dreamed. Their laughter hopes, and their presence fills our house with light.

We never sit and count our challenges. Instead, we count how many times we have raised each other, how many jokes we have shared, and how many dreams we have made, brick with brick.
